Flood Relief Work

‘Let us work together & goodness will happen’

With the flooding in Bombay and many homes that were destroyed, we felt it our duty to reach out and do something for the people in areas where the floods hit the most. A survey was conducted and volunteers of Kamino International helped by visiting, meeting the poor families that were most hit and suffered heavy losses.  After identifying these areas, Relief camps were set in Bail Bazaar at Kurla, Ghatkopar and Andheri East.

Hampers with basic household necessities – food items, medicine, toiletries were ordered, packed and distributed to these poor families.

Seeing the smiles and happiness on their faces made all our efforts worthwhile. It was truly a very rewarding experience, one very hard to forget.

We are happy to have the support of Kamino International staff who take their social responsibility seriously and are committed to reaching out and doing good work.
